Terms of Service

This is a draft prepared from Lysties' actual product behavior. It has not been reviewed or approved by legal counsel and is not a final Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.

Your account

You can create a Lysties account with an email address, a username, and a password, or by signing up with Google. You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use Lysties, and the information you give us when you sign up must be accurate.

You can deactivate your account at any time from Settings. Deactivating signs you out on every device and disables your profile.

Your content

You own the photos, captions, and comments you post to Lysties. By posting content, you grant Lysties a license to host, store, and display it as part of operating the service - for example, showing your posts in feeds, search results, and on your profile.

You're responsible for what you post. Don't post anything you don't have the rights to share, and don't post content that's illegal, harassing, or otherwise violates these terms.

Turning on "Private account" removes your posts from other people's feeds and from search results. It does not restrict who can view your profile or your individual posts directly - see the Help Center article "Who can see your posts" for the details.

You can delete a post at any time. Deletion can't be undone. Lysties does not currently support editing a post after you share it.

Community standards

Don't post spam, impersonate others, harass or bully people, spread false information, or otherwise use Lysties in a way that harms other users.

You can report a post that violates these standards from the post's menu. We review every report and may remove content or take action against an account that violates these terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Lysties if you violate these terms, misuse the service, or if we're required to do so by law.

You can stop using Lysties at any time, including by deactivating your account from Settings.

No warranty

Lysties is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the updated terms here; continuing to use Lysties after a change means you accept the updated terms.
